This 5K race is at the number one beach in the world: Siesta Key Beach. Not only will you run next to pristine waters, you’ll get to experience the incredible white sands. It doesn’t get better than this!
We offer free race pictures, performance t-shirt, custom bib, goodie bag, awards and prizes, food and drinks, plus much more!

**This run is 100% on the beach. We will have a starting area by one of the lifeguard stands, and run along the water to the half-way point. There will be signage to help you find your way, water, and definitely one of the best 5Ks that you will experience!
*Virtual 5K*
The Virtual 5K is for athletes around the United States who can’t make the Tampa or Sarasota Great Father’s Day Race. You’ll register and run/walk the 5K at your favorite scenic route that you choose. You will receive an official bib, performance t-shirt, and custom bib. Most importantly, you’ll be able to participate in the fun where ever you are! You’ll be able to rep the Great Father’s Day Race in your hometown!
We’ll send out the goodie bags with all items and ship directly to you!
We’d even suggest registering your entire family and friends, no matter where they live! You can run the Virtual 5K, take pictures, and share on social media. It’ll create awesome memories that you’ll cherish forever!
General Race Information
Parking
There are over 800 spots available in the Siesta Key Beach lot. Since our race packet pick-up starts at 7a, and the race starts at 8a, you will have no problem at all finding a great spot at the beach!
Race Packet and Shirt Pick Up
Sarasota Packet Pick-up: 2022 at Fit2Run University Town Center (140 University Town Center Dr Space 110, Sarasota, FL 34243) from 4-7p.
**We suggest trying to hit the Fit2Run Packet Pick-up; it’s more convenient than race day, plus we have goodies that we hand out. Don’t miss it!
You will be able to pick up your race number with bib timing attached, goodie bag and dry-fit T-shirt at the registration table on race day. There will also be an email that goes out to all registrants prior to the race with all pertinent information.
Performance T-Shirt
Great Father’s Day Race Performance T-Shirts will be given to all registrants.
Prizes for Top Age Group Finishers
Awards for 1st place finisher in age categories!

Snacks and beverages will be provided prior to the race and after the run. We’ll also have plenty of water on site as well for the thirsty participants!
